Re: Instruments I'll never own

Terry, my dream machines are a resonator guitar (been looking at a Recording King which I might pull the trigger on), a Martin 00-21, a Rickenbacker 370-12, either a Deering Tenbrooks or John Hartford, an old SS Stewart like Dave's first banjo, and like you, a Bob Shane plectrum. So many instruments, so little money. Round out my collection before I join that angel band, assuming I make the cut.
There are several special instruments I'll never own. Just a retired guy fixed income, yada yada yada. Such as Martins, Bob Shane D 28, Jim Croce D 21, Maury Muleheisen D 35, Gordon Lightfoot D 18. Ranger Doug had Ren Ferguson, during his Gibson tenure, build him an L5 with Stromberg bracing, I'll take that one too. * I've played on it and it's got my name all over it!
Of course we can throw in Bob Shane's Vega Plectrum banjo while we're at it. HOWEVER, I saw this morning that Elderly is offering a ukelele, the last one played by Herbert Khaury..AKA "Tiny Tim"...yes, believe it or not, I'd love to add that one as well!
