HaHa Max, Thanks for that. That is most likely my Dad (Eddie Collins) on the tenor banjo on that recording. He no doubt did 99% of the banjo (guitar when needed) with the Art Mooney orchestra. There was a particular session where Mooney inadvertently hired two banjo players and forgot to hire a bass player. The second banjo guy was a very well known tenor player by the name of Mike Pingatore. We're going way back here.
Since Eddie played numerous different instruments he would take the bass spot at that session. This particular recording features the fast right hand technique that Eddie was known for, so I'll say that's him in the tenor banjo.
