I came across an article about the Trio he wrote for the student newspaper at Ohio State in November 1961 when he was a student there. He got the Trio's background right, and was extremely complimentary.
He had an interesting quote from Nick about Dave's departure: Dave "was the self-appointed leader who wouldn't listen to our side of the argument, and it finally got to be too much...At least we don't have to listen to 'it's my way or I'll quit" anymore.
Stewart said this about moving from the Cumberland Three to the Trio: "It's like going from managing a general store to running Sears; there is five times more pressure."
I also found something Ochs wrote for Broadside about the fuss over Pete Seeger being blacklisted from the "Hootenanny" TV show. He suggested some other network blow "Hootenanny" away by airing a joint concert by the Trio, Pete, Dylan and Joan Baez.
