Thanks for the reply Joe. Agreed, today's technology is wonderful , it's the "C" word that freaks me out. I can make a respectable four track recording with my tiny "Zoom" recorder. Getting that recording from the zoom to cd is crazy.
My good friend, who knows all about this stuff, has given me three days of his time in the past few weeks.
Hook up the zoom to computer, go to "Audiodacity to mix, go to express burn to format (whatever that means ) disc. Import that to cd... MP3 Wav ???blah blah blah.
I have an essay worth of notes and directions from those sessions.
For me to interpet! That's almost funny.... :<(
Terry, I saw Roger McGuinn in concert a few years ago, and he said that someone with a home computer and some relatively inexpensive software has better recording equipment than the Byrds ever had. But I also wonder if the effort needed back in the day to get it right produced better musicians and better recordings.
