My reactions to the early Ovations, Rick, down to thinking that they sounded "tinny." I haven't heard one in years, and I wonder if the company has been able to give them more depth and dimension.

I just happened to watch that entire show the other night. When John used that Ovation on, I think it was Chilly Winds, it sounded AWFUL! Very tinny. I couldn't believe it. I remember forty years ago my Brother bought one and I tried it. I hated it. I didn't like the sound or the shape of the body. I guess there was a market for them though.
