In uK, we have just been remembering VE Day, Victory in Europe 7th anniversary when the2nd World War in Europe came to and end. It took anther 5 months for Victory in Japan (VJ Day).
Both the US and our own Commonwealth countries gave thanks that hostilities ended.
In thanksgiving I cannot think of a better song to realize the lessons we should be learning for the futility of war, its effect on populations and the ambitions we should be aiming for world wide, the Bob, Nick and John’s version of “Last Night I had the strangest dream.
