James Taylor - With his distinctive baritone voice and guitar styling, James Taylor gained instant success back in 1970. Here James performs his first big hit "Fire And Rain" on his Gibson J-50, which is a Gibson J-45 with natural finish top as opposed to the typical sunburst finish of a J-45. Bob Dylan also performed with Gibson J-50 in his early recordings.
Don Williams - Following early success with The Pozo Seco Singers, Don Williams turned to his first love, country music. I've had several ladies tell me they would melt from the tone of Don's voice and this, no doubt, accounted for much of his tremendous popularity with several hit records during the mid-1970s to the mid-1980s.
