Several decades ago I saw the New Kingston Trio in Port Jervis, NY. When George Grove and Roger Gambil were in the group. They sang Jamaica Farewell. Bob Shane before introducing the song he said it was a song that was always associated with KT but they never did it. My thought was why didn't they do this song even as a single release, seems like back then it would get airplay. Probably a question for George Grove who was there
