As you mentioned, there's The Kingston Trio in 1959 (with Dave) and once again in 1961 (with John Stewart)
and to be honest, it drove me crazy watching John Stewart taking the place of Dave Guard ~~ especially when
John took the lead in "Take Her Out of Pity."
(nearly died when I saw the cover of "Close Up")
But on a positive "note" (pardon the pun), John eventually won me over ~~ and I enjoyed songs like
"Reverend Mr. Black" and "Desert Pete" and "The Thresher" and "Red River Shore", etc...etc...
(John was fantastic on the KT's "Time To Think" album)
Bell Telephone Hour should definitely make all those legendary performances available on DVD and/or Internet.
(but I'm not holding my breath)

And that reminds me why aren't all the Bell Telephone Hours on the internet/available? Including the KT with Dave in 1959.

"Sit Down" certainly begins the album on a high note (pardon the pun) ~~ and Harry's rendition of "Mangwani Mpulele" is equal
to The Kingston Trio's version on their "Sold Out" album.
(too bad I missed that Bell Telephone Hour)

Sit Down was one of my favorites and mangwene Mpulele and saw him do these two on the Bell Telephone Hour on TV

Yes gabbytrioguy, "Streets I Have Walked" is an excellent Belafonte record and I consider this studio album
to be one of Harry's best.
Hardly left our record player when I brought it home during the summer of 1963.
My favorite song? "Come Away Melinda" (written by Fred Hellerman of The Weavers)

Another great Belafonte album (although not a live concert) is Streets I Have Walked

Harry Belafonte recorded a concert in 1963 which was almost as good his two Carnegie Hall albums
released in 1959 and 1960 (RCA Victor):
>>> BELAFONTE AT THE GREEK THEATRE <<<
