We miss your Dad more than words can say.
The last conversation I had with him had to do with the rise and fall of folksinger Phil Ochs.
Your Dad liked Phil a lot, and his favorite song by him was "There But For Fortune":
PHIL OCHS
Born: December 19, 1940 / Died: April 9, 1976
Telephone Call from (brother) Michael Ochs to Phil Ochs on April 6, 1976:
*** RING *** RING ***
PHIL OCHS:
Hello.
MICHAEL OCHS:
Hi Phil, it's Mike. How about getting together for lunch today?
PHIL OCHS:
No, not today. I'm not feeling too well.
MICHAEL OCHS:
Gee, that's too bad.
How do you feel...from...One to Ten?
PHIL OCHS:
Minus Twenty.

Hi all,
Many apologies for the little glitch! It was a little trickier than expected to renew the site, but all is good now! Folkusa, my Dad's legacy and baby, will continue :-) If you are having any difficulties, please trying clearing your cache or using a different browser. And of course, spread the word! I tried to log in to another message board to share the news, but couldn't register.
Thank you all for enjoying my Dad's work and keeping his memory alive! Means so much to all of us. It's been a hard few months with holidays and the Eagles winning the Super Bowl (we couldn't rub it in his face, haha!) And now with baseball season upon us, it's just another reminder of missing a great man. But we get some solace in knowing you all continue to use and enjoy his site. So keep listening, keep posting and be great to one another.
To my Dad, Go Phils!
Peace,
Kathi (Rick's daughter)
