When I was in Catholic high school, we had to pick something to translate from Spanish to English for Spanish class. I chose Coplas. I found the Spanish lyrics in Vocal Album No. 1 (Remember those?).
My translation was really good, probably too good, because the Spanish verses were somewhat dirty, and my translation captured those lyrics in all their glory.
Needless to say, there was an unpleasant conversation between the principal and my parents.

Even in Jim's song history and KTOR, I can't confirm who it is in the original trio that sings the Spanish verses in "Coplas".
I think I've always assumed it was Nick because he was raised in the Tijuana suburb of San Diego, and it sounded like his voice.
Am I right?
