Bob was 83.

Five years older than me.

He was my only relative who was a Kingston Trio fan.

Not a big fan.... but, still a fan.

You know how it is.......

Everyone thinks you're nuts !!!!!!!!!

Particularly the people in your family...

How can you spend so much of your time ....

They say....listening to the Trio.....

Going to concerts.....

Trying to play the guitar.....

It's all nuts !!!!!!!!!!!

Bob understood all of this....

The only one on both sides of my family...

He was ... without a doubt ...

The nicest guy I ever knew.

We went to a German restaurant ....

We both liked the potato salad.

So, a week later......

Bob sent me a case of canned German potato salad...

He said it wasn't as good as what they had at the restaurant ...

but, he figured it would tide me over until we could go there again.

He was a really cool kid when we were growing up.

someone to look up to.

I'm really going to miss him.

Whoever's last ....
