But, a real quick explanation.......
About 2 years ago......
We had a plumbing problem at our house....
The plumber turned out to be very Irish.
You could tell the moment he open his mouth and began to talk.
I can't remember how we got around to it....
but, he told me he was a singer too.
So, I got out my geetar and this is what Igot when I turned my video camera on too.
He's playing my first and now ... ONLY Martin dreadnaught.
I used to have 3 of them ...
This is my first one.....
Purchased in Nashville in 1966 ...
It started out right-handed.
The guy I bought it from told me who to see to make it left-handed.
Turned out... it was the same guy who built Trigger for Willie Nelson.
He re-cut the slot in the bridge for the saddle to go the opposite way and installed a new nut.
Later, another guy put another pick guard on it.
I played it until about 1978 when I got a factory left-handed D28.
In about 1987, I had it put back to right-handed so Jackee's father could play it. Which he did until he died.
It's my only D28 now...
and the sucker is still right-handed.
BTW, that's Curly our dog....
