I became a pretty big fan of THE LIMELITERS after seeing them peform "When I First Came To This Land" on TV.

Glenn Yarbrough owns this song and when I began to buy their albums (on Elektra & RCA Victor),
I came to realize that as the acknowledged leader and spokesman for THE LIMELITERS....

=> Nobody equalled Louis Gottlieb

Yes I know ~> Dave Guard was inspired by Louis Gottlieb and studied Lou's stage banter....
and Dave was pretty good, no question....but Lou Gottlieb had something extra !!!

And yes, Paul Stookey, being a professional comedian, also had command of an audience....
when PETER PAUL & MARY performed.

BUT BUT BUT ~> having said that....

=> All eyes were on MARY TRAVERS

and since I wear glasses for "distance"....I had 4 eyes on her !!!
