Max, Rick Beato does a great job. But "Galveston" gets my nod for greatest country song ever written. (Thank you again Jimmy Webb) and performed by Glen Campbell. MTABob

P.S. Pause. Is "Galveston" a country song to everyone here? When it came out it was played on the top 40 radio stations here in Oklahoma City. WKY 930 and KOMA 1520, both AM stations at that time.

BTW, Glen Campbell was NOT a country singer.

He may have been a country boy...but, he was about as far removed from country music and anyone could ever be.... being a guitar player does not make a person a country music person. Duh !!!
