We feel ya. It must be hell being the act with the talent going up against the act with the "name." Sooner or later though, the industry (music providers and music listeners) have got to be a bit more "discerning"...? If that's the better word? As a music fan, I know that, any group that's been around 65-ish years, is NOT the same as it was all those years ago. The Mills Brothers today, are not the same gents as the 1930s. For that matter, the New York Yankees aren't the same bunch of guys that played along side Lou Gehrig. I see a lot of "tribute" acts out now, doing shows based off of a single act. But what happens when you like an entire ERA?? That's the edge that the FLT has. It's just getting that message out to the people. And by "people," you have to ultimately mean people that know the difference. And how do you state that, without coming across snobbish. One thing you have in your corner is WE know who you are. You can imagine the people that go to current Trio gigs that are scratching their heads after the first couple of songs.
