This week, I'm going to see a surgeon about carpal-tunnel surgery on my left hand. He did the surgery on my right hand about 9 years ago and it definitely helped remove much of the numbness I had in that hand. My left hand isn't as bad as the right was back then so I'm hoping for even better results that'll help me fret properly once again.
Well, trying to play a Martin or any of my steel strings. So today I broke out a nylon string and I can actually play. Problem is, I probably won't build up any callouses on my fingers so I can start playing the wood and steel again anytime soon. Oh well, at least I'm making some kind of noise!
