A few months back I posted a theory that Martin Body Sizes could be expressed in terms of several ratios. Based on this theory, I bought a new guitar on eBay because I determined that it was a Triple-Naught body size with a 12 Fret neck.
This guitar finally arrived here in Hawkesville, Ontario, Canada from China last Thursday, and it's truly exceptional. Measurements confirmed that it is indeed a Triple-Naught body, and research allowed me to conclude that it's a copy of a circa 1918 to 1930 000 Style 42
As Josh Fuller described it here on 2/10/2020, this Style 42 has Style 45 trim : "The guitar equivalent of a Nudie suit". As if that wasn't enough, the fingerboard is also extravagantly inlaid along its entire length, with one image resembling the Vega flowerpot.
I'll try to post a picture of it later today.
