Yeah, the copyright police can be a pain in the ass. In the mid-1990s, ASCAP threatened to sue the Girl Scouts for singing copyrighted songs around the campfire. Let's just say that that turned into a PR nightmare for ASCAP.
About twenty years ago, someone sent me a video tape of this entire show, which I posted here on Folk U.S.A. After a while, I got a letter from Sylvia's lawyers telling me to take it down, as she owned the rights and was planning on putting it out on DVD. Lest I get sued, I took the concert down. There was never as DVD made of it, and now you can see the whole thing on YouTube. But I beat them all to it!
