Best thing I've ever done for myself. No overnight stay should have been necessary. I went right home after the procedure. But then, I'm not a King. So there's that.

Same here. I had both done less than two weeks apart and couldn't be happier.

Add me to the club. Had both eyes done back in February. And I had to use eye drops for more than a few days, more like 3 weeks.

The article said Felipe had engagements until late afternoon. Depending on when he last ingested food and water, the surgery might not have been done until very late at night. That might have something to do with deciding to keep him in the hospital overnight.

The article says the surgery took place after 10 PM, so yes, the late hour might have played it the decision to keep Felipe in hospital.

Yes. Those drop drove me nuts. I've never been good at eye drops. But they did their job.

Less than a month after I finished with the surgery eye drops, I scratched my cornea, and I had to follow an even worse schedule of eye drops every two hours during the period I was awake.

How did I scratch my cornea? I needed to use eye drops for dry eye, hand shook and the tip of the dropped hit my eye.

I hate eye drops.

I have never had cataracts, but I have had a scratched cornea. It happened while I was using the flea comb on Alexander-kitty. He hated it and decided the best way to get away from it was to jump over my head. I didn't close my eyes in time and one of his back claws got me in the left eye. The ER folks cleaned the eye and I also got the eye drops every two hours thing.

It was a good thing I loved my sweet Alexander.
