Concert For The Princess Of Asturias Awards

Posted by karenl on October 23, 2026, 2:19 am

Sofia is nearly as tall as her father and she's wearing low heels. The last few engagements I've noticed that Letizia looks very tired and drawn, I hope she's alright. Of course, Spain's going through trials with their economy and it concerns the King and Queen also.

Leonore's suit doesn't quite fit her. The jacket and trousers need a good fitting with an expert tailor. Letizia's outfit cuts her in half at the waistline, making her look even more petite than she is. Sofia's dress is pretty, but she needs some good jewelry to go with it. Felipe looks good as always.

I'd like to see Sofia with her hair up, back or almost anything but parted in the middle and hanging. It's just not flattering. You're right about needing some jewelry for that outfit. Leonor looks like she's swimming in fabric. Not that you can see her outfit. All black in a dark room. Leonor looks like a floating head.

It was strange that Letizia and Leonor wore black and Sofia dark blue, when I first saw the photos, I thought they were attending some sort of memorial service. I know it's autumn, but there are colors for the season that are brighter for a concert.

I think Sofia should trying some different styles for her hair. I'm sure she's comfortable with her hairstyle, but I'd like to see her wearing her in an updo or a cute pony tail or even braided. Both Sofia and Leonor have gorgeous hair.
Speaking of Leonor, she's wearing her grandmother's ruby earrings and they're are elegant on her.

I think it will be a few years yet until we see Sofia embrace her elegant side. It's easy to forget that she's only 19. But a sweeping updo would make us very happy.
