State Visit Vietnam To Denmark

Posted by karenl on October 19, 2026, 10:28 pm

Queen Mary brought out Queen Alexdrine's Russian Sapphire Tiara and she looks spectacular. It's a first for Queen Mary.
I wondered who the young man in uniform was in the first two photos of him. Then, Duh, it's Christian...he just turned 21 a few days ago. No longer a boy.

Mary looks stunning and Christian looks so much like her and her late father. The President's wife looked lovely, and it looks like she and Mary might have coordinated their outfits, or maybe it was all chance.

I wonder when we'll see Isabella at a tiara event? Do the Danes wait until the young royals are 21 before starting them on duty?

I got the impression from what I last read on her that she has yet to decide on whether or not to be a "working royal" - to use the British expression. So I don't expect to see her as part of any formal occasions until she has reached that decision,

I'd love to see all four children at tiara events. Isabella and Josephine in glittering tiaras alongside Christian and Vincent in their uniforms? Yes please!
