James, Earl of Wessex will attending the Royal Agricultural University

He will study Rural Land and Property management at the Cirencester-based university. Jmaes will start his degree course this autumn.

I wonder if, sometime in the future, we see him managing either a crown estate farm or one of the King's properties with farms. Or maybe he just wants his own life and will follow his own passion.

I thought the same thing: minor members of the royal family used to get "jobs" like Ranger of Windsor Park, often with a free house as part of the compensation. I think Prince Christian of Schleswig-Holstein had a sinecure like that. Of course, actually getting a degree in the subject makes James more likely to be hands-on.

Yes, he was Ranger of Windsor Park. I can see James being a great help to both the King and Prince of Wales with his Ag. degree with the various land holdings.

Maybe he'll be Charlie's intern on Clarkson's Farm and learn farm management.
