Japan State Visit to The Netherlands.

Maxima decided to wear a grass lawn to greet the Emperor and Empress. Luckily, she redeemed herself at the State Banquet. Ariane has nad her debut at a tiara event, and she looks so beautiful. Amalia can wear the gun guns jewels with ease and is absulutely stunning. Masako looks lovely and oh look, Pieter, Margriet, Laurentien and Beatrix are there and make my heart so happy!

Uh..the day dress of Maxima's has to go the way of Letiza's leather culottes...bye, bye. It's a
"What was she thinking?" piece.
I'm glad to see Ariane making her State Banquet debut. She looked gorgeous, as did all the Royal women. Alexia is still at school in London. It was nice to see Ariane in her element, I think she gets missed when with her older sisters.

Amalia and Ariane seem to be very close. One of the photos shows Amalia winking at her youngest sister.

Amalia seems to have the knack of wearing grand jewels and grand dresses and not having them overwhelm her. Margrethe of Denmark has that same knack and I love it.
