I downloaded one volume just to see. As I expected, dull-dull-dull. It's just a recording of wake-up and go-to-bed times, whom he ate with, where he went. No introspection. No private thoughts. The only hint at anything was an entry for the day his wife showed up on the ship: Bed at 11.30. Lovely night.
