Princess Astrid of Norway Reportedly in hospital

Trond Norén Isaksen in a Facebook post has said: "According to the magazine Se og Hør, Princess Astrid has been admitted to the National Hospital in Oslo. The Palace has not confirmed this, but the magazine has photos of the King and Queen arriving at the hospital this afternoon."

There is no offical news about this.

Oh no. I hope it's not serious. I think it would destroy Harald if she goes now.

The Royal Palace in Oslo has confirmed to the public broadcaster NRK that Princess Astrid, who is 94, has had pneumonia. She is now getting better, the Palace says. From what I hear she has struggled a bit to shake off the illness, which is of course not uncommon for someone her age. The King and Queen were seen at the National Hospital in Oslo yesterday before leaving for their traditional Easter holiday at the Princes’ Cottage in the remote valley Sikkilsdalen. I am sure everyone wishes Princess Astrid, the model of what a public servant should be, a speedy recovery.
