"The last time the duchess reached out to Hubb Kitchen was in June 2022, to mark the fifth anniversary of the fire.

Since then, it seems the stoves have gone cold on the initiative that symbolised Meghan's grassroots approach to royal duties.

A spokesman for the Hubb Kitchen told the Daily Mail: 'I can't talk about the Duchess of Sussex, but the Hubb community kitchen has stopped.'

I love the way the reporter labels it as "Meghan's Food Charity", no, it really wasn't. I always remember when Meghan was "helping" to prepare the food, she ran her hands through her hair and then was mixing the vegetable dish with bare hands.....it was all I could do to keep from running to the bathroom.

The Kubb and the cookbook were originally Charles's thing. He was the one who publicized the charity efforts after the fire and supported the survivors and their families. Charles suggested that Meghan take on a leading role. The cookbook was already in the works when she came on board and the work she took credit for had already been done by others.

It looks like She stopped all involvement with The Hubb when the Bank of Charles stopped giving Them money.

Thank you, Omid, for telling us something that happened while you were writing a book that got published in 2023. I guess you missed all the other reports of "olive branches" that were offered and rejected for the past five years.

So Scoobie wasn't as close to the Hasbeens as he wanted everyone to think --if he had to hear it second or third hand *while writing the book*.

I bet he's irritated the article failed to mention his new book, which he's been running around promoting.

That second Scoobie book, "Endgame", didn't do so well. What a shame.

Scobie was given this earth shattering info while writing the second book, so he waits 3, probably closer to 4yr. to reveal a story no one cares about.
I'm sure this revelation was only to bring attention to his latest book. I've read a couple of reviews and neither was favorable.
Actually, the mediator story did float around the tabloids for a short time a few years ago. Scobie is regurgitating a known story from the media.
