Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor prepares to leave his Windsor home 'for Sandringham farm'

A removals van arrived at Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor's Royal Lodge home this morning as the disgraced ex-prince prepares to leave the Windsor mansion.

The former Duke of York is expected to move into a temporary property on the King's Sandringham estate in Norfolk at some point over the coming fortnight.

Andrew is set to stay at that property until Easter, when renovation works on Marsh Farm - anticipated to be his new home on the estate - are scheduled to be finished.

No word on if Fergie has moved out yet or where she's going.

Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor's move from Royal Lodge to Marsh Farm on the Sandringham Estate is now imminent, taking place before 25 January. As he loses his family home starts a new life in Norfolk, HELLO! understands that his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson will not be joining him.

Until now, Sarah has remained living with her ex, but a source close to the 66-year-old has told us that she is ready to part ways. "She has stood by him all these years but is now ready to spread her wings. She won't be moving in with him to the new house on the Sandringham Estate. She won't be moving into Beatrice's Cotswolds home though. Eugenie's home in Portugal is a contender while she finds somewhere," the insider says.

I say it again, all the years since their divorce, we were continually regaled with Fergie's gushing that she and Andrew were still together and supporting each and "are the bestest of friends". They were still "husband and wife" despite a divorce.
Well, the bestest friends lasted until she lost her Duchess of York title plus the money pipeline stopped. Now she states that it was hell all these years living with Andrew and the bestest friends was a sham, blah, blah. Fergie's mad because she got caught and was in with Epstein just as much as Andrew was. She can't lie her way out of it.
I'm sure she'll end up living with Jack and Eugenie for a time and maybe get her own house. It wouldn't surprise me if she ends up back in the UK in the future.

We still don't know where Fergie will land, but I'll bet you a scone she'll find her way to Andrew before summer. For the last almost 40 years they've never really been apart from each other and now they don't have anyone else.

No one else wants to have anything to do with either Andrew and Fergie now neither family or former friends except for their daughters.

I think they may have a few friends left (mutual secrets and all that), but no one who could host them for an extended period. Any remaining friends wouldn't want to endanger their own social standing, so other than small dinners or a lunch on the patio in nice weather Andrew's social life is done. At least for the next few months or so. We'll see what happens when summer comes and the royals are in full swing. Will Andrew venture out for some socializing?

That removal van looks like it would only be able to hold a fraction of the furnishings, etc Andrew had at Royal Lodge. There have been reports of other moving vans at the Lodge over the weekend, so I wonder if he's putting a lot of stuff in storage and just keeping the bare minimum at his temporary home. I also wonder if we'll get the Royal equivalent of a garage sale soon.

Fergie may be at Beatrice and Edo's converted barn, or she may have opted for Portugal, where the cost of living is lower and she'll be close to Jack and Eugenie.

I think that van was one of several. My hunch is that the Lodge will be stripped of all furniture, rugs and art in advance of a thorough cleaning and upgrades. Just going by the outside, it looks run down and any work done on the inside is over 20 years old. I think the inside is old-money shabby, but shabby nonetheless.

There was a story the end of Nov. stating that Andrew would not be moving out of Royal Lodge till after the New Year, which is happening. One thing that was mentioned by an "insider" was all the junk Fergie amassed while living there, in addition, she spent a fortune on online shopping at Amazon. The insider went on to state that there were literally hundreds of Amazon boxes laying around, and not ever opened. I hope Fergie was told to take her Amazon junk with her.
The house at Marsh Farm is very nice, although it does need work and work needs to be done on the grounds areas and outbuildings. I live there, if I had plenty of money.
It's interesting how many years the media howled and called for Andrew to be stripped of his titles and patronages, royal duties. Now the media has put on an air of the "poor Andrew" to it's stories. There were stories last month about "Andrew spent Christmas alone without his brothers and sisters plus his own daughters." I'm sure Beatrice and Eugenie plus their families spent time with their parents, but the media is so hypocritical now, Charles carried out what he had to do and what the media had been harping on all these years.
