Finnish State Visit to The Netherlands

Oooohhh, BLING! Maxima wore a big guns tiara and I am here for it. She looks fabulous. The men look dapper. The honors for the evening, though, go to Amalia. She's a knockout and she knocked it out of the ballpark. Her dress is gorgeous and her jewels are wonderful. Amalia has gained so much confidence over the past year or so and she is just glowing.

Both ladies look stunning, but Maxima's sleeves are a bit much. How does she not drag them through the food or knock over glasses at the table? Somehow she managed, or we would have heard about it!

Amalia seems much more secure in her role now. Her tiara seems simple, until you look again and not the size of those diamonds.

Those diamonds are huge, but they work so well in such a simple setting. Amalia carries off that tiara and necklace so well she reminds me of Our Bea in her glory days.

Maxima is Maxima. She will always go big, bold, and bright. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't.

Amalia is stunning, Maxima would have been if the gown would have had different sleeves. I'm going to say it, I hate those sleeves, they don't with the slim line of the gown and they're clunky. Bad choice.
