Critics have delivered scathing reviews of Meghan Markle's new Netflix series, labelling the Duchess of Sussex 'needy' and 'narcissistic' in her second attempt at small-screen stardom.

Season two of With Love, Meghan, which launched on Netflix today, has already been panned as 'marginally less mad but more needy' than its predecessor - despite pulling in millions of viewers in its debut run.

The Mail's Liz Jones branded the new season 'staged, fake and dull' - but unlike other critics, commended Meghan for being 'genuinely earnest'.

The Guardian dismissed the show as a 'gormless lifestyle filler', while The Telegraph described the Duchess as a 'Montecito Marie Antoinette'.

The Times was equally cutting, calling the eight-part show 'a series in search of a meaning, fronted by a woman in need of some cash'.

What's interesting is that they had all this time to re-edit the final episodes --and this is what they still ended up with.

Not only slammed, but the big blow was that Meghan's show was blown away by the news of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce engagement announcement...."ouch".

Liz Jones is a fan girl of Meghan's, her columns about Meghan usually contain gushing praise while dissing the Princess of Wales.

I'm not a "Swiftie," but I wish Taylor and Travis the best. Unlike Twerkette, Taylor is talented, hardworking, and shrewd when it comes to managing her business empire. She and Travis have worked hard to build successful careers and they both seem to have solid family grounding.

Harry said "I love you" first, Meghan fell in love with Harry during a trip to Botswana (I think), she thought spending five days with him in a tent was wonderful, and motherhood has always been a dream of hers (bwaaaaahhaaaaahhhhaaaa).

I like that shade of yellow on her, but I have to admit my first reaction in seeing the ginormous baggy sweater and skirt was "Oh look, it's Big Bird!"

Not allowed to go bare-legged? Of course she was, and there are photos and video to prove it. If a narcissist is going to rewrite history... Anne, Camilla, and Birgitte all wear hosiery. I dare Twerkette to tell those women they aren't authentic. Catherine--who, I think, is the object of Twerkette's comments--also wears hosiery from time to time. Twerkette, try going to Catherine and telling her she's inauthentic. Oh, right, you can't.

She's told an interviewer that her legal name is "Meghan, Duchess of Sussex."

Pardon me while I look for my eyeballs. I rolled them so hard they fell out.

I watched the video in the article. Talk about spinning tall tales and spitting out word salad while trying to rewrite history! And she does it all while wearing wrinkled, ill-fitting clothes. I do like the yellow on her, but the sweater and skirt are way too big for her.

Apparently she never learned what her proper style and title were/are, and the difference between a title and a surname. The interviewer isequally ignorant, stating that she's never heard the word "Dukedom" before. Talk about the blind and silly leading the blind and silly.

At one point Twerkette gives a guest a vintage masala dabba. She tells her guest that she picked it up when she and Twerk were on vacation in North Carolina. When were they in NC? And why would she buy a random vintage spice holder in NC? And when did she start cooking for the kids in the morning?
