1911 - Prince Edward, The Prince of Wales was invested as Prince of Wales. On his abdication and his move to France, along with the belongings he took with him the Coronet that was use at his investiture went as well. It was a highly illegal move on the Duke's part as the coronet had been made of his father (King George V) for his investiture and didn't really belong to the Duke. A new coronet had to be created for the invesiture of Prince Charles. The coronet was returned to the royal family after the Duke of Windsor's death.
There's a very short clip at the end of the video of the Order of the Garter ceremony which I'm assuming is in error.
