Posted by Karen on July 9, 2025, 12:52 pm 1996 - State Vist of South African President Nelson Mandela to the UK began. The Queen, Duke of Edinburgh, Princess Royal and Sir Timothy Laurence welcomed The President of South Africa to London. A State Banquet was also held at Buckingham Palace.
