Posted by Karen on June 19, 2025, 5:22 am 1976 - King Carl XVI Gustaf, King of Sweden married Silvia Sommerlath in Stockholm Cathedral. Their marriage was the first marriage of a reigning Swedish monarch since King Gustav IV Adolf married Princess Frederica of Baden in 1797.
