1901 - Grand Duchess Anastasia Nikolaevna of Russia was born at Peterhof Palace in Saint Petersburg. She was the 4th daughter of Tsar Nicholas II and Empress Alexandra. Her parents was disappointed she wasn't a boy. The much awaited heir was born 3 years later.
