I loved Edith Wharton's novel, she's one of my favorite authors. I viewed the first season of "The Buccaneers" and loved it.

The current Prince of Wales is descended from a Dollar Princess, Frances Work.

Frances 'Fanny' Work was the great-grandmother of Diana, Princess of Wales. On her maternal side.

Yes. Frances's elder son and his wife also became good friends with the-then Duke and Duchess of York, and they were able to lease a home on the Sandringham estate, where not only were their own children born and raised, but so were their Spencer grandchildren.
