Thanks. I also saw Henri and Maria Teresa of Luxembourg and Albert of Monaco. It looked like Maria Teresa wasn't wearing a head covering, which I thought was strange.

The funeral was grand but simple. Pope Francis was beloved by so many people.

I viewed a photo of Letizia and she wasn't wearing a veil either. Charlene was with Albert and she was wearing a veil. I find it odd that Maria Teresa wasn't wearing a veil although there are some stories speculating her reason, but I won't get into them.
I'll miss Pope Francis, he was very humble and he made the forgotten/or ignored people on the edge of society his focus. He was controversial, but it was his passion to speak out. I loved that he was the first Latin American Pope.

Letizia actually had a veil on at some point during the service, but it was placed well back on her hair. It's visible from some angles, but not from others. Maria Teresa not wearing a veil at all seems a bit disrespectful.

I liked and admired Pope Francis. He genuinely loved people from all walks of life and he spoke out against injustice. He'll be a hard act to follow.

As Hollie said. Queen Letizia was wearing a veil at the funeral. In some images it tended to blend in with her hair and was hard to see.

The Dutch King is receiving a lot of criticism for the absence of a Dutch Royal on Sat. I can't believe that someone in the Royal Family couldn't attend. Maxima could have flown in and attended the funeral and then flown back afterwards. Something could have been worked out.

As a side note, Catharina Amalia showed how to wear a Ralph Lauren creation.

Amalia could have represented The Netherlands at the funeral, or maybe Marguerite.

Amalia's dress needs to be a couple of inches longer and then she'd had knocked it out of the ball park. She does look polished and put-together, as does Maxima. Alexia seems to be going for edgy, but she kind of missed the target. I do like her shoes and bag, though.
