Prince Frederik of Luxembourg has died

He was the 22 year-old son of Prince Robert of Luxembourg, a first cousin of Grand Duke Henri. Frederik died of a rare genetic disease on March 1.

Fair warning: Robert's words about his son made me cry a little. I wish I'd known more about Frederik before this time.

Amen. I think he did a lot of work through the foundation he started and that's why the news has spread beyond Luxembourg. I also think his father's message has garnered a lot of attention.

I read an article about Frederik in a Catholic publication about a year or 14 months ago. He was an amazing young man. In the article he and his family credited their faith in dealing with his diagnosis and how he dealt with his life changing.
