AP News just ran the story that Netflix will run a second "season" of With Love Meghan. It's scheduled for fall. Interesting, most new series on the networks, cable, streaming don't get renewed until after the first series run...or get killed off.
If the series runs in the fall, then Harry and Meghan must be getting their contract renewed? I don't understand, they've had nothing, but flops, anyone else with their record would have been kicked out. Is Netflix afraid they're going to be sued?

Gotcha, it's the last 4 episodes, only Netflix tried to pull a fast one and call these episodes a second season.

She announced that there would be a second season. Netflix merely confirmed that there were already filmed episodes that would be streamed in September.

Netflix probably doesn't care how those episodes are categorized. They're just hoping that enough people will care enough to hate watch.

When it rolls around to September, I think there will be even less of an audience watching...we'll be inundated with stories and Instagrams all summer featuring the remaining episodes. By we, I mean everyone. Those episodes won't be anymore successful.The whole thing is just bad.

The theme is not about lifestyle, it's about Meghan...and more Meghan. She's at her most condescending here also. I've noticed through this all that Meghan is not aging well at all, wearing beige, bland colors doesn't help.
Netflix is losing a ton of money and the fall showing won't pump up the earnings at all.

Obviously, most people have forgotten that William and his brother, following their father's instructions, filled in "Wales" on their school papers in the blanks asking for their surname, and continued to use "Wales" as a surname during their military careers.

The same people have forgotten that when they first started school, George, Charlotte and Louis used "Cambridge" as a surname, "upgrading" to "Wales" when their father received his new title.

Lord Ivar should know all that. He should also know that it is customary for non-royal peers to use their titles as surnames and to sign legal documents that way. Indeed, his own father signed "Milford Haven". (I can't remember which royal wedding it was, but I saw a photo of the license, which was signed by close to two dozen close relatives, and among the signatures were: Milford Haven, Nada Milford Haven (wives and widows of peers use their first name before the title, as do courtesy peers), Snowdon, David Linley.

Many of the people who are crying "Sussex isn't their surname" are the same ones crying "They're no longer royals". Well, if they're no longer royals, then they aren't doing anything wrong using Sussex as their surname.

And it's hypocritical to get annoyed about TOW's objections to being addressed by her maiden name and then have an attack of apoplexy when the media refers to "Kate Middleton".

Peers sign using only the territorial of their title. Norfolk, Milford Haven, Brocket. Princes (all kinds) sign with their official name (Albert [George VI], Marie Louise, etc.

I'd be curious to know what Mr. Markle has to say about the TV show, but the DM put it behind a paywall.

Both Charles and his late mother refer/referred to the Duke of Kent as "Eddie Kent." His younger brother and sister-in-law are often called the Michael Kents.

I just find it telling that TOW says it's important she and *her* children share the same last name of Sussex. Well she, the kids, and Harry are all Mountbatten-Windsors, but now, apparently, only she and Archie and Lili are Sussexes. No Harry. That's interesting,

There are so many examples of royals being referred to in that manner. Even Queen Victoria used that nomenclature when writing to her eldest daughter.

Megyn Kelly and Maureen Callahan are having a field day skewering these episodes and her appearance with Drew Barrymore.

Interesting that Meghan's been married to Harry for 7 yr. and it's only with her show that she decided to go by Meghan Sussex. Taz is correct when she brought up the point that Meghan whined to Oprah that when she married she gave up her "independence/identity", she couldn't stand the Royal duties, but she gladly accepted the titles. We know why.
I'm sure it was because she was receiving flak about flouting the Duchess title so she "changes" her name to Meghan Sussex...for the kids, of course. It's true, the title was given to Harry by his grandmother, but he doesn't count.
This way she can say, "I'm Meghan Sussex....I'm the Duchess of Sussex, by the way." As if no one knows that. In all these years, she was referred to as Meghan Markle without a peep from her. It's all for the show.

In the article, TOW says that the name Sussex is something she, Lili, and Archie all share. Not a mention of Harry, you know, the person who actually has the title Duke of Sussex. I guess she's writing him oit of her history now.
