Ouch!

The eight episodes, which are each 33 minutes long, see Meghan inviting famous friends to a California estate where she shares cooking, gardening and hosting tips.

She has enough "friends" willing to risk their own reputations and careers that eight episodes were possible?????

'The format is this: Meghan invites people to her pretend house – the show is filmed in an $8million farmhouse down the road from her $14million home – and they tell her how amazing she is. This happens for eight episodes.

'It is all about 'the joy of hostessing' because Meghan is extremely welcoming to everyone, which you will know unless you are her father, her siblings, her father-in-law, her stepmother-in-law, her brother-in-law, her sister-in-law, 99 per cent of her husband's old friends or Piers Morgan.

What a crock. It is unrelatable to the real world. Gift bags for kids that contain gardening stuff...sure, they'll be thrilled. You get home and all the seeds and junk will be spilled over the inside of the car. Not a clue.

Yep, pretty much sums the whole thing up. It is fake, Harry "scaring" Meghan on the hike. Meghan's reaction was her typical hands to her face while Delphina wasn't at all startled. Gee, I wonder why.
I do have to add, Meghan's reference's back to all the years she was able to be creative...(you're still not) because of the Royal Family? Heifer, you've been away from the RF for five years, move it on and find another excuse.

It be like their doc., the first show may bring in sizable viewers, but as the series drags on, the viewers sharply drop off. Netflix and the media still refuse to acknowledge that happened with that doc.
It just looks boring and it's true, Meghan doesn't have the personality. When I watch Martha Stewart, Ina Garten, Pamela Anderson's trailer, they all invite the viewer "inside their homes" so to speak. You get the feeling that if someone brought you as guest to one of their homes, you would be welcome no matter who you are. Meghan is not like that, it really is pushing wealth down the viewer's throats. She doesn't want to welcome you, she wants to praise her overwhelming talent for everything.

With Love show has a lowly 11 per cent rating from viewers with it behind wrestling and sitcoms on Netflix's chart.

The delayed lifestyle series was slammed by critics yesterday after its premiere as 'gormless lifestyle filler' with a 'tangible desperation'.

It currently sits at number six on the streaming channel's top 10 behind Kate Hudson's basketball comedy series Running Point and WWE.

Hollywood bible magazine Variety panned the Duchess of Sussex's series as 'a Montecito ego trip not worth taking' in a no holds barred review.

'The show plays out like a forced march, one in which Meghan’s guests must, as the price of getting to share an afternoon in a made-for-TV kitchen with her, praise her first,' they wrote.

'"With Love, Meghan" is made with a great deal of love — in the sense that the greatest love of all is the one that a person has for herself.'

11% is pretty bad and there's seven more episodes. I don't subscribe to Netflix, my best friend does. She called me and said she could only watch for about 10 min., she couldn't take Meghan's personality.
To reference Kendra's thread, for Meghan to "correct/put down" Mindy Kaling for referring to Meghan as "Meghan Markle" not as "Meghan Sussex", that should never have been included in the final cut.

I had no idea my mother and grandmothers were "innovators" when they served us scrambled eggs or pancakes for dinner. Is she not aware that many, many churches have pancake suppers on Shrove Tuesday? Would that tradition fall under "innovation" as well?

Possibly a set up. However, Meghan is completely wrong. Henry's actual surname is Mountbatten-Windsor and not Sussex. Sussex is the County in the UK that is related to her Husbands Dukedom. It's not an actual Surname.

I think Mindy fluffed her line about Markle/Sussex and stage direction and Meghan got ticked. I also think Mindy fluffed the instruction to ask Meghan about her "look," which would have cued Meghan to chat "naturally" about the designers and brands she was wearing. Any good actress would have rolled with with the goof and turned it into a funny scene. Not our gal TOW. Mindy wasn't under control and didn't make TOW look good, so boom!

I think TOW is also mad at Mindy because Mindy hasn't cast her in any of the shows she's produced. That's the only reason TOW is friends with Kaling--to get a show.
