Yeah, she plagiarized that coat of arms. The Mallorcan town's shield has beautiful vivid colors and reflects the area's history. TOW's logo looks like it was drawn by Archie and has no relevence to anything.

As an aside,I'm impressed that the DM article has the word "shambolic" in it. That describes everything TOW does.

I don't think she copied their logo (and I think plagiarize isn't really the correct word for the situation). I'd never heard of this town in Spain, and I'm pretty well-read.

Has she ever passed through Mallorca? She may have seen the flag and stored it in her memory along with pleasant travel memories. We know she spent time on Malta, but that's closer to Italy and off Tunisia. It's too bad no one on her team did an image search to prevent this.

I think she did visit Mallorca at one point. Maybe the image on the coat of arms was just stored in her mind somewhere as you say.

I agree that plagiarism isn't the right word. I can't think of the correct word for this situation, nor am I convinced that her logo resembling the town's coat of arms is just a coincidence.

No, I don't believe the logo design was a coincidence either. It isn't an exact copy, it's been tweaked to differ from the original with noticeable differences. It will be up to a judge or jury to decide if the city officials decide on legal action. Really, in fact, Meghan's logo design, looks pretty cartoonish and far from professional.
I've always believed Meghan spends a ton of time on the Internet, trolling for all her "ideas" that she can steal/copy instead of, oh gee, working on her own creative projects/ideas. She's remarkably lazy.

She doesn't have original ideas, or she doesn't trust the ideas she has. Her business plan seems to be to copy what has already proven to be successful elsewhere.

An independent clothing company with the same name as Meghan Markle's lifestyle firm has pleaded for support - as fans lashed out at a 'royally scandalous' rebrand.

As Ever, which makes clothing in New York and New Jersey, said they were 'not affiliated' to the Duchess of Sussex's project and thanked everyone for their concern about their 'namesake brand'.

She's added all this in addition to the original stuff she presented in her ARO trademark filings. The Patent Office is going to turn her down yet again for the same reasons.
In that video announcing her new venture, it wasn't hard to tell that it was all put on at the last minute. It's even more telling, she's in a panic, to the point that she's in a thrown together outfit of jeans and a shirt, her hair looks like it needs a wash and no make up or false lashes. The way she was speaking and acting, she was also hyper (drugs?), or just anxiety.
Meghan got bad, bad news. Netflix, Patent Office, Harry and David Store? Who knows, but it's got her in a spin.

TOW is trying to compete with influencers who are half her age--or even younger. That'swhy she's doing the the no makeup makeup look with the messy hair. She doesn't compare, though.

I had to stop the video 3 times to heave with laughter. The honey drizzle on the croissant just about did me in.
In another DM article about this farce, all repeat stuff, but they did add that a "PR expert" stated that "Kim Kardashian would never do this". I have to admit that Kim is a PR Queen who knows what works and what doesn't.

This is a good article. The PR gal also questions the lack of clarity going on with Meghan as well as transparency.

I predict a year from now As Ever still won't be launched. She still hasn't ever put out that she's hired all the staff she needs. She can't sell clothes with the AE label, a Chinese company has the trademark As Ever for their clothing line.
Poor business practice..the prime time to push your products and business is right before and after the show. Meghan is also lying about Netflix going into business with her, Netflix is "featuring" her products in their, so far, two stores.
