He looks so frail, but his spirit still shows in his eyes. And he still has his debonair sense of style.

It was probably pretty moving for HRH and another example of duty and loyalty by the Duke.

Agreed. It looks like he's using some sort of brace to help him stand as well as his walking sticks.

A phrase that comes to my mind is "They don't make 'em like that anymore." And it is so true!! The Duke and others of his generation were made from steel.

Have you read his memoirs? He and his siblings were brought up with "queen and country" first and foremost.

The Duke's memoirs are wonderful. He just comes across as kind, courteous, charming, and very discreet, with a great sense of humor.
