1650 - Eleanor "Nell " Gwyn, mistress of King Charles II, was born. She became one of the first actresses on the English stage and a celebrity figure of the Restoration period who was praised for her comic performances.

Nell has many, many descendents,but the best-known is the Duke of St. Albans.
