OT: New Year's Eve Party

I hope everyone is getting ready for the annual bash. Get out the best dresses, shoes, and jewels (natch) and party like it's 1999 and 2099!
The nephews will be at the drinks bar and limos will be ready to fetch people to arrive and to take people home afterparty. (There will be plenty of assistance to pour people into the limos.)

I hope the nephews have loaded up on the fixings for margaritas and Long Island iced teas. My drs. cleared me to have alcohol again and I am going to party! I'm bringing the loaded nachos and borrowed the Iveagh from the Gloucesters!

Whomever drove their horse and carriage through my main hall, please see me about cleaning up. I found a tiara at the bottom of the punch bowl, and two of the footmen quit (really, ladies!).

When I awoke this morning, I found myself wearing a marvelous ruby and diamond bracelet--is someone missing one, or did I stop by the jewelry store on my way home?

I got the tiara back to the Gloucesters safe and sound. However, they were more than a little miffed at my singing ABBA songs at 2 AM outside their door. Also, I seem to have misplaced my Bentley and there's a carriage outside with Martha's curtains on it.

Oh dear, Martha, we've spent the afternoon looking for the culprits. The nephews said it wasn't them, they were busy with the drinks and have witnesses who vouched for them. I was told it wasn't me, I was either swinging on the chandeliers or sliding down the stair railings. The Bavarian Tiara I borrowed was found at the top of a fir tree and my Louboutins were located at the bottom of the Champagne Fountain.
My sister went to the stables to talk to the horses, but they are not talking. The rest of the horses suddenly looked away or buried their heads in the feed troughs.

The horses were traumatized. I found an Agent Provocateur thong, a cummerbund and a stiletto in their hay. Don't ask about the riding crops. Really, one should never startle the horses!

Ack!!!!

I will stop by tomorrow to pick up those things and run them to the Forensics Lab. We will track down the culprits and deal with them appropriately.
We like to have fun parties, but traumatizing the horses....never. We have to keep our reputation spotless, after all or near to.

My security cameras show two masked figures pulling the carriage to my door and then running away. I found an emerald and diamond bracelet under the seat of the carriage and a tiara on the coachman's perch.

The horses know something.

I'll come by tomorrow to your and pick up the tiara and bracelet, they'll go to the lab also. Two masked figures.....my sister will go back and talk to the horses in a couple of days, they need time, they're the key to the case.
She did leave our cards at the stable if any of the horses can tell us anything in the mean time. We may have to get the pony out there, she's pretty adept at making witnesses comfortable and talking.
