Very sad, indeed. Birgitta, like her sisters was intelligent and down to earth. She made a grand royal match when she married Johann George, but still remained true to herself. It's a blow to her sisters and brother.
Princess Margareta just recently turned 90 and is said to be in poor health. It's so sad because these are Royals we've read and discussed for a long time and now they're departing from us.

That whole group from the 30s... They were all teenagers together and still seem to have strong friendships.

Remember the photos from the cruise of the Agamemnon? One big gang.

Oh yeah, those photos were great. It was one big Royal gang and they looked liked they had a blast with one another.
There was never another cruise like the Agamemnon cruise.

I don't think Birgitta was on the cruise. The only Haga Princess on the yacht I know of was Margaretha.
