Heart-rending. Such agony for Ella having to relive everything for the inquest. The entire RF pulled together to support and shield her.

That had to have been a terrible experience for Gabriella to relive events over again at the Inquest, but she's a strong woman who has the support of her family, especially Freddie and the extended Royal Family.

I feel so sorry for Lady Gabriella. It must be a dreadful time to live thru. I wonder why her husband was taking so many drugs? Doubling up sleeping medicine was very dangerous. Chamomile tea works for me, but I have a simple life.

Severe insomnia is much worse than the occasional restless night. If you can fall asleep from a cup of chamomile tea then you are lucky. Those of us who have severe insomnia need prescription medication, and sometimes a cocktail of medications to fall asleep and stay asleep through the night. If Tom was on medication, and was having his prescriptions and/or dosages adjusted, he was vulnerable to the side effect of suicidal ideation. It can come on in seconds and overtake the patient.

I love Gabriella and right now she's still grieving for her husband's loss. It's understandable that she's lashing out at the medications her husband was prescribed. We don't know what all was prescribed for Tom and when or for how long.
Tom was dealing with severe depression and he may have had PTSD from his time in Iraq even though he was not involved in combat, he may have witnessed some horrific scenes.
All anti-depressants come with the warning of increased suicidal thoughts especially in the first 2-3 weeks. Unfortunately, our loved ones or friends "slip" through the cracks and they take what they think is the final solution despite the love and devotion of the people are near them and despite diligent medical care.
