Philip helped his mother sort through Andrew's things after the things were sent to London. Philip wore Andrew's cignet ring and had his father's suits re-tailored to fit himself. To the end of his life Philip used his father's silver hair brushes, combs, and shaving set, having things rebristled as needed. Philip also got his father's cufflinks.
