I hope Tyler Perry doesn't plan on getting his $5,000,000 back (educated/plain as day guess). Also, those are pitifully small amounts "given" to charities. As expected, most of the money went towards TO and TOW--oops, sorry, "expenses". It also looks like a chunk went towards paid "huggees" that TOW could grab and maul during certain photo ops.

Skanks and grifters,that's all these two are.

Six employees, but 19 contractors/non-employees who perform services. Wow, that's kind of a lot.

At least they've invested the cash this year instead of letting it languish in a bank account ($390,000 in investment income). And they have *no* other directors listed any more. THAT's significant. Also, they're still paying over $100k in legal fees? WHY? That's insane! And the AP is pretty big too. With that much cash on hand, they shouldn't have *any* payables lying around.

This is one non-profit I wouldn't want to work for...

I'm still not impressed and no, I wouldn't want to work for this "non-profit". All of their former employees who have departed from Archewell came to that conclusion, also.
If it wouldn't have been for the $ 5 million donation, they would have only had $700,000 plus in donations. I don't know if Tyler Perry gave them the donation, maybe, but he has lots of problems right now in Hollywood and his productions are way down. As with Oprah, he still won't be out with a cup in his hand for coins.
The donation could have come from the US businessman who is a big polo fan and is the one who always lends his private jet to them.

A black gown with the usual high slit in front. She doesn't have the right legs for a slit, I'm sorry, they're too skinny and bony.
Now, you tell me if Tyler is thrilled to be with his "old friend" Meghan..? Nope, he can't even crack a grin, let alone a smile, even when facing her. Of course, Ted Sarandos was there.

I had a longer look at the dress. It actually fits TOW. It's not the usual too small mess. That's what threw me. Now, is it flattering? No. Is it too long? By a mile. Should she have just stayed home? Always.

I also realized all her poses and mannerisms look particularly bad in these photos. Dainty Hands? Check. "Coy" look over one shoulder? Check. Smirk? Everywhere. All three at once? Nooooooo!

TOW has to stop with the stupid starlet poses.

The dress isn't bad at all. The bodice fits nicely and it's actually flattering. It's the wearer. All the girlish poses are what she dreamed of doing when she was a girl dreaming of stardom. She's finally on the red carpet but doesn't know how to act.

Gettyimages has 6 pages of photos from the soiree and I didn't post because the 6 pages were photos of the same people over and over including Tyler and the wife.
The photos included Debra Lee, Nicole Avant, Kerry Washington and Ted Sarandos, no photos of any of the other Tribute Host Committee Chairs, so either they didn't want to be photographed or they didn't attend. There was a big absence and that was Oprah...Tyler's great friend plus no Gayle.
The entire event was so transparent...it wasn't about Tyler Perry, it was about Meghan Markle.
The were two other Galas going on at the same time, SAG had a big gala as well as The Hollywood Reporter Gala, both were recognizing notable women for their achievements. Hmm, what a coincidence that the Paley Honors just happened to be schedule for last night also.
