What a great story, it is too bad that Charles was unable to spend a bit more time with the sisters. They looked happy at meeting Charles after all these years.

I must search for more information on his time at Timbertop.
I think all the students who spent a year there were younger than him and he did have a slightly older student (or former student?) as particular companion.

This family with the farm is all new to me.

So all round he does not seem to have had arrangements that included boys his own age.
