I wish we could identify some of the others in the "royal box." Given the location, I would think the Fifes were there.

Shame that none of the other members of the family could attend yesterday. Gone are the days when the whole front row would be filled with family.

I miss those days too. I get such a kick out the Royals when they are laughing at something happening or has occurred. Several times the DOE, Charles, Camilla have been pictured wiping the tears of laughter from their eyes. The most I had ever seen the late Queen laugh the hardest was at Braemar. They really enjoyed the Gathering.

I'm disappointed that the Queen did not wear that plaid skirt and green jacket and the beret with the silly feather. That to me is her Scottish outfit.

I can't decide whether I like the print on Camilla's dress or not. It seems a bit busy to me. Also, I get why she's wearing that hat--the feather matches the print on the dress--but it's not a good color and the fabric seems too heavy for the dress. I think maybe a tam o'shanter matching the dress's background color would have worked really well.

I agree, Hollie. The print is all wrong. The outfit that she has worn in Scotland for other occasions would have been better.
