I watched it. I loved seeing Princess Anne so relaxed and chatting away to freely. What a coup for Mike to get Anne, William and Catherine at the same time at Windsor. Well, to get Anne there with them, since William and Catherine live nearby.

I follow this podcast regularly, but this one was extra special. It's clear Mike and Anne have a great relationship, and it was fun listening to the stories of the races and games the RF played--and still play--at Balmoral and Windsor. I thought Catherine was a little nervy at first, but she seemed to relax and get into the swing as the cast went on. I did like how Anne drew her out about the sports they played at their respective schools and created that link between them. It's clear Anne and the Waleses have an affectionate relationship as well.

I enjoyed every bit of that. So royals can do interviews.

Not only can they do interviews, they can be charming, funny and not hog the spotlight. Imagine that.

Amazing, isn't it? At times I thought Catherine was too empathetic--is that even possible--and didn't want to upstage anyone but just absorb stuff, but then she opened up about her own background and that was cool.

The one thing I took away from this is the easy rapport and genuine respect and affection Mike, William, and Catherine all have with and for Anne, and her reciprocation of that. It all's boils down to them being a real family who may have their differences from time to time, but ultimately they love and support each other.

I loved how Catherine did start out not wanting to upstage the others and held back a little, but Anne was marvelous at bringing Catherine out, not as an obvious spotlight, but as a normal conversation would take place. She made sure Catherine was comfortable. Royals certainly can interview, with professionals and one another, and can be interesting, touching and very funny. No one was trying to upstage the others.

This the success of the Royal Family. When people still respect/highly regard the Royals, but relate to them and as Hollie and Stephen stated, want to hang out with them and see them as very personable.
